Insulated packaging, complete with ice packs, to help keep chocolates from melting when shipping to warm weather states. This is absolutely necessary for packages being shipped to and from any area warmer than 65 degrees, and is used in conjunction with 2nd Day Air Shipments, or any shipment from and to a warm area that is no longer than 2 days. The ice packs included will only last 2 days.
Depending on the size of your order, most of our shipping boxes are biodegradable. The insulation can be liquified in water, either added as mulch for your garden, in your watering can for indoor plants, or liquified in the sink for disposal. The box is reusable and biodegradable, and the plastic padding is reusable.

Summer Shipping Rates already include the cost of an insulated container and ice packs necessary to keep your chocolates from melting. The ice packs will only last for 2 days, so please choose a shipping service that gets your chocolates to you in 2 days from Chicago. The Delivery Time shown under Delivery Method is the courier’s estimate for their delivery service once we have shipped your order. Fulfillment of orders may take up to 3 business days. Please be assured that your items will ship out so as to arrive as close to your requested date as possible. We cannot, however, guarantee specific delivery dates. We typically ship via United Parcel Service (UPS), but reserve the right to determine the most efficient carrier for your order.
