We start with loads of perfectly roasted nuts, which are then completely encased in luscious Belgian Chocolate.

Our Nut Barks are available with Almonds,  Pecan, Tart Michigan Cherries, a beautifully balanced bark made with Tart Cherries and Almond combined and our newest design, Pistachios blended with Chopped Candied Ginger and Tart Michigan Cherries.

For the “not so nuts”  we have Crisped Rice Bark.  Perfectly crisped rice, encased in our Belgian Chocolate.

Cacao Cusco (Peru) – Delicate aroma with subtle notes of cane sugar, culminating in a robust cocoa finish.

Ceylan (Ceylon) – Strong cocoa flavor with ounded warm taste.

Cote d’Ivoire – With Notes of Chamomile, Jasmine and Coconut

Cuba – Delicate and complex flavor profile, featuring floral, nut and soft fruit notes with low acidity. The smooth texture and nuanced flavors reflect the rich heritage of Cuban cacao.

Equateur (Ecuador) – Subtle and Delicate

Hacienda El Rosario (Venezuela) – Wonderful cocoa, delicate fragrances.

Haiti – Very chocolate flavors with a citrusy touch. The cocoa is harvested by farmers with the help of the association Veterinarians without Borders.

Les Sirenes – Philippines – Organic, Crisp, Smooth A tribute to the women divers in the Philippines that saved the crew and cargo, which included cocoa, from a shipwreck in 1609.

Madagascar – Smooth & creamy, fruity notes.

Maragnan (Brazil) – Very rich and creamy texture with a special “exoticness’ to the extremely long finish. A classy, elegant and satisfying bar. Fruity citrus notes, like orange and bergamot.

Madre de Dios (Peru) – Crafted with rare Peruvian cacao gwon in the Madre de Dios region, part of the Amazon rainforest. This chocolate offers a soft and fruity flavor profile.

Porcelana (Venezuela) – This is an absolutely exceptional dark chocolate crafted from rare Porcelana cocoa beans sourced from an ancestral plantation. These beans yield an annual harvest of 1,000 kg.

Product Details

All our Bonnat Bars are 75% Cacao and considered Single Source. “Single Source” means that the beans for each bar come from one plantation in one location. In some cases, there are more than one bar from a country, but the plantations are distinctly different as are the bars. This allows for the bars to impart the environment in which the beans grew – the sun, the soil, the nuances that are that area are realized in the chocolate bars.
